Operation :

The Prochem-V provides results in minutes with the accuracy of wet chemistry but without the inconvenience. With 26 tests from which to choose, the Prochem-V gives you the ability to evaluate individual values or create panels of up to 15 tests customized to fit patient needs. Because you choose which tests to run, the costs are only those associated with that particular patient's requirements. You no longer have to run unnecessary test to get the answer to the one or two you need.

The Prochem-V takes up little counter space and performs general chemistries, electrolytes and T4 analysis all in the same unit. It comes complete with a slide away keyboard and Epson printer.

Because the tests are available in trays of 10 QVETs per kit, your inventory of a particular test can depend on its usage in your practice, not on what the manufacturer determines would be used in the average practice. To assist you in maintaining an inventory that suits your needs, the Prochem-V stores a computerized usage summary on a test-by-test basis allowing you to determine how many QVETs are used over a given period of time, in order to manage your inventory.

The Prochem-V is menu driven, so once the QVETs are charged with patient sample and loaded into the instrument's carousel, all you need to do is follow the directions on the screen. The printed results report will display the patient information, the tests performed, the results and the reference range for each analyte for that species. The last 200 patients will be stored and can be recalled at anytime for printing using the patient name, ID number or test number.
